Robot x Rescue Forum 2023 Event Information
Overview
The Robot x Rescue Forum 2023 will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, as detailed below. This time, the event will be held as a hybrid of the Kobe venue and a webinar.
The Rescue Robot Contest Executive Committee conducts disaster prevention awareness activities under the philosophy of "learning technology, talking with people, and creating a disaster-resistant world." With the aim of raising awareness of disaster prevention and disaster response and providing a place for creativity education, the Rescue Robot Contest (RESCON) has been held every year since 2000. In addition, in January 2015, we established the R&R Community General Incorporated Association as an organization to manage and oversee this RESCON and other businesses.
As part of this disaster prevention awareness activity, this forum aims to provide topics related to disaster relief and robots not only for those interested in RESCON, but also for the general public. This forum will be held in two parts, the "Rescue Engineering Symposium 2023" and the "Rescue Symposium 2023", co-hosted by the Rescue Engineering Division of the System Integration Division of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers. Please invite your friends and join us.
In addition, we are planning to hold the preliminary competition for the "Rescue Robot Contest 2024" online on June 23, 2024, and the final competition at Kobe Sanbo Hall on August 10 and 11. The "Rescue Symposium 2023" in the second half of this forum will also serve as an information session for this contest.
