Request for donations to the Rescue Robot Contest
The Executive Committee has held Rescue Robot Contests since the year 2000 to provide students aiming to become engineers the opportunity to present their technological abilities and to raise awareness of disaster prevention and rescue robots among the contest audience. We have also strived to cultivate human resources of science and technology and to raise awareness of fire and disaster prevention, with the principle of “learning technology, keeping open communication with people, and creating a world that is resistant to disasters.”
We invite general donations as described below in order to further enhance and develop the cultivation for human resources of science and technology and enlightenment activity for raising the awareness of fire and disaster prevention in the future. We would like to ask for the continued support and cooperation of individuals (team participants, ResCon alumnus/almuna, rescue robot researchers, general charity), corporations, and organizations.
